My hometown is Lima, Peru. I'm a first-year Quantum Science and Engineering PhD student. I completed a BS in Physics and an MS in Electrical Engineering at Stanford. Since my freshman year, I worked in the Nanoscale and Quantum Photonics Lab under Prof. Jelena Vučković. My research focused on cavity QED with diamond color centers, which hold vast potential for applications in quantum sensing and quantum communication. I also worked on integrated photonics, focusing on chip-scale titanium-sapphire lasers and amplifiers, as well as germanium-tin nanolasers for optical interconnects.
