Dr. Dorrah is an NSERC postdoctoral fellow working in the areas of Polarization Optics and Structured Light. He graduated with first honors B. A. Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Cairo University in 2011, worked in telecommunications industry for one year, then obtained his M. A. Sc. (2015) and Ph. D. (2019) degrees both from the University of Toronto, Canada. Dr. Dorrah also worked as a visiting research scholar at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab and at the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa. His research activity has led to over 30 Journal and Conference publications in the areas of Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Optics and Photonics and has been funded by NSERC Canada, OSA, and SPIE.
