Dr. Christina Spägele, Dr. Soon Wei Daniel Lim and Dr. Joon-Suh Park have successfully defended theses and graduated from the Capasso group!

May has been an exciting month for the Capasso group as we have had the joy of celebrating the graduation of three of our group members. We congratulate Dr. Christina Spägele, Dr. Soon Wei Daniel Lim, and Dr. Joon-Suh Park!

In their time in the group, Christina has been working on controlling photons, phonons and polaritons with nanoscale devices, Daniel has been working on singularity engineering, and Joon-Suh has been working on the development of metasurface fabrication protocols for both prototyping and mass production. We now wish all three the best in their future scientific endeavours as they go on to tackle new challenges!
